Tuesdays over at SCS is colour challenge day. I love doing these challenges and this weeks was to use Chocolate Chip, Sage Shadow & Very Vanilla. Here is my card.
This card is also using the resist technique. I stamped the flower with Chocolate Chip ink onto Very Vanilla card numerous times. I then traced over each image with a Versa Marker pen then embossed with clear embossing powder. Then using Sage Shadow ink I used my brayer to ink over the embossed images to create a background. Because the pen went over the lines of the image, there was a small amount of white left around the images after brayering the background which is what I wanted to achieve. I then trimmed the panels down and layered onto Very Vanilla card. Tied Chocolate Chip ribbon along the bottom of the stamped image and stamped the sentiment in Chocolate Chip ink. Scalloped the bottom with the corner punch and layered onto Chocolate Chip card. Really pleased with this card.....off to make some different colour combo's. Thanks for looking. X
