Mixed Bouquet

This card is stamped using the Mixed Bouquet stamps from Stampin' Up!. I have used a technique called two-step stampin'. The flowers are stampped onto Whisper White cardstock with Real Red ink and the leaves are stamped in Green Galore. I have then cut them out and placed onto Green Galore cardstock. A stripe of Real Red card with White Grosgrain ribbon tied around it and 'Happy Anniversary' sentiment stamped in Basic Black underneath. Another quick and simple card.

First Stampin' Up Card.......

Well I have been playing with my starter kit and this is my first card. The weekend has been a bit busy so I have kept the design very simple. The card base is Green Galore cardstock, with a strip of Glorious Green on Gable Green, with a bow tied around the strip made from Whisper White 1/4" Grosgrain ribbon. The present stamp is from the Year after Year set. I stamped this onto Whisper White cardstock three times in Green Galore ink, then cut the images out and attached to the card using foam pads. The 'Warm Wishes' sentiment comes from the Cheer & Wishes stamp set and is stamped onto the strip using Basic Black ink.
Recipe:
Stamps - Year after Year, Cheer & Wishes
Cardstock - Green Galore, Glorious Green, Gable Green
Ink - Green Galore, Basic Black
Ribbon - White 1/4" Grosgrain

Stampin' Up!

Well, I have finally taken the plunge and become a Stampin' Up! demonstrator. My Starter Kit has arrived and I am set to go. Now I have not had the pleasure of using anything from this company before, but WOW!! this stuff is fabulous. The stamps are wonderful to use, and the ink pads, well I am lost for words. They are sooooooo lush. I love that the colours are all grouped together in colour families, this is so helpful in designing your card and everything matches! Have a wee look at the catalogue here http://www2.stampinup.com/gb/eng/543.asp

and see what I am excited about. I have to admit though, the Catalogue in real life is so much better than this online one. It is an Idea book as well as a catalogue and you can see the examples so much clearer. If you would like one, contact me, the cost is £5.95 but I will refund this on your first order of £30+ I promise you you wont be disappointed at all. Oh and if there is anyone out there in the Norwich or Norfolk/Suffolk area that would like to host a party, let me know. As a hostess you can earn some of this fabulous stuff for FREE.

Now off to have a play with my goodies........

Playing with new stamps

I have had such a good day, playing with some new stamps. I bought the new Hero Arts Cupcakes clear set from Crafts U Love and they arrived during the week. Havn't had time to use them until today. Ohh these are fab stamps. They stamp out so clear. I am afraid I cannot show you my creations as the light is so bad, I cannot get a decent photograph to load. I will have to load tomorrow, come back then and have a little look. Instead I will share with you a card I made for a friends birthday. In fact it is today 'Happy Birthday Wendy' Hope you have a good day.

Create a Card for Cancer Care

Been busy today sorting through my cards to send to the DO CRAFTS Create a card for Cancer Care. See details here http://www.create-a-card-for-cancer-care.org/. The top photo are my cards and the bottom one are cards made by my mum. My mum is getting into cardmaking big time. Her creations are beautiful, although she is very modest about it all. She would kill me if she knew I had put them on here. LOL. (Sorry for the bad photo's the light was bad indoors, so I tried outside but still not very successful.)

More Sugar

Have been playing with my new Sugar Nellie stamps. I stamped the images last week end and have been colouring a few each evening. Today I made a couple up into cards. Both are square white cards covered with freebie paper from magazines. Can't remember which one, as I normally don't use them, but these seemed to work well.

LOLA

My new Sugar Nellie stamps from http://www.funkykits.co.uk/catalog/arrived on Saturday. I wasn't too sure about these new designs at first, but boy now they are here wow they are just adorable, the pictires on the Sugar Nellie blog http://sugarnellie.blogspot.com/ don't do them justice. They stamp out beautifuly and are so easy to colour. Here is my first creation using one of the stamps. I started off in my mind that this card was going to be blue, it has actualy ended up being lilic. LOL. Having one of those days where I keep changing my mind, and can't find the right paper for the card. I colour in my stampped image first, then make my card. Perhaps I need to choose my card colours first then colour the image to match the colours I have choosen....Off to try that.........X

Sponsor Belle to raise money for a medical trip to Nevada, USA

Belle, needs all our help. This beautiful, couragous young lady is needing to raise funds to travel to America, to embark on some treatment that our own country cannot give her. Read all about it here http://www.kirstywiseman.com/ellie.html. Belle's mum is the wonderful, creative Kirsty Wiseman, and for months now I have been reading Kirsty's Blog http://limegreenbogiegirl.blogspot.com/. Go over and have a look, her work is fab, but also you will be able to read all about the long, frustrating journey, Kirsty and Mark have had to endure, fighting with the medical system in the UK, to get the help their daughter deserves. Although I have never met Kirsty or her family, I feel that I know them all so well and I want to help them try and get the best for that wonderful daughter of theirs. I'm now off to make my donation.

Kirsty, If you happen to stop by my blog........ Love to you all X
