For my first award I need to say a big thank you to Maria, who left me this award on her blog. Head on over and give her a visit. Her work is truly inspiring.





My second award, is from Alex. Alex is a member of my Stampin' Up! team. She is such a talented crafter and a truly wonderful person. Pop over to her blog here. You won't be disappointed.

Now I am supposed to pass these awards onto others, but I have such difficulty in choosing people. I follow so many talented crafters and their blogs I find it difficult to pick out individuals. So here is my list of honest things about myself.......

1. Always putting my family first, (then get upset, because I feel they put upon me)



2. Love watching Neighbours and QVC



3. I become a different person, when I get behind the steering wheel of my car!



4. I love Kipling handbags. (There about the only colourful things I have in my wardrobe)



5. Alcohol makes me grumpy…Diet Coke for me



6. love CHOCOLATE ….. hate boiled sweets and chewing gum



7. Cannot walk past a craft shop without going in and buying something



8. Need to loose at least 6 stone in weight !!



9. I have to be early, never late…it drives my husband mad!



10. I look for clothes that don’t need ironing, because I loath Ironing

I have been given this fab award by the wonderful Abi. Abi's comment made me smile, because I feel the same way about her! yes hun, you inspire me ! Your creations are wonderful and thank you for the award.

Now to the hard job...passing this award on. Now I have said it so many times, there are so many fab people out in blogland, I don't like to pick a certain number. I feel everyone should have these awards LOL, but I am going to pick two blogs to send you to. These two fab ladies are part of my Stampin Up! team and are so talented.

It's been a while

Sorry for not blogging, but time has just got away with me.... a new job and family commitments have meant very little time for stamping and blogging! Then changing Internet provider and of course the change over didn't go smoothly, they never do do they!

However I did get around to creating this 'Mothers Day' card to send to my MIL in Australia.


I used a new stamp set that will be available from 1st April when the new Mini Catalogue arrives in the UK. Its called 'Soft Summer' and one of many adorable stamps. As a Demo we can pre-order the stamps one month before their release, which is why I have been able to use it for this card. I used my favourite colours Regal Rose and Rose Red for this card.

My second card is for my Mum. This time I have used Elegant Eggplant and Lovely Lilac with the stamp set 'Live your Dream'


and this little number for my son to give to my MUM. A very quick card using SU designer papers and card stock, but slightly cheating by using a Penny Black stickeroo for the image.

I do hope all Mum's get spoilt tomorrow. Not sure what the Men in my life are up to, been rather quiet about it so hope they haven't forgotten.....

And lastly I want to say a big thank you to Kate and Alex for leaving me this award.



I do love visiting blogs and leaving comments, which is probably why I don't get much stamping done myself...LOL

Wow, I am honoured that I have been nominated this award not once, not twice, but three times.
