Baby Card

Had news yesterday that some friends have just had a baby boy, so I have made a card for them. I have used the Elephant from the Year after Year set. These stamps cover all occasions and are so versatile. The image was stamped with black StazOn and water coloured using Bashful Blue from the Soft Subtles colour family with the Watercolour Wonder Crayons. The card is made from an A4 piece of Bashful Blue cardstock, cut lenghways then folded. This has been stamped with the Polka Dot background stamp with Bashful Blue ink. (Just love this background stamp, I can see it is going to be used allot on my cards!) The image is placed onto Barely Banana cardstock then onto Brocade Blue card, which has been torn at the bottom and white grosgrain ribbon tied into a bow just under the image. The circular 'congratulations' greeting is from the Circle of Friendship set of stamps stamped onto Barely Banana cardstock in Basic Black then placed onto a circle of Brocade Blue and placed onto the bottom corner of the card.
