Sale-A-Bration Blog Hop

Welcome to Sale-A-Bration Blog hop. Myself and some other Stampin' Up! demo's are posting some projects using the wonderful Sale-a-bration stamp sets. By clicking on the Sale-a-Bration Icon above you will be guided to the next blog in the tour, do this on each blog and you will complete the tour and return back to where you started. We hope you enjoy your journey and please do comment along the way. It's so great to hear from people who have stopped by. You may be starting the journey here or have found me by passing through Emma's blog, whichever, I hope you enjoy browsing all the lovely Sale-a-bration projects.

I have two cards to share with you today, using the stamp set 'Happy Moments'. I do love this little set, you can cover so many events, male or female with it.

My first card is suitable for a male birthday. We all struggle to make cards for males don't we. I have used the Present stamp from the set and coloured two of the presents in Certainly Celery, then the middle present is paper pieced with a scrap of Designer Paper in Real Red.  I was really pleased how this card turned out, I think the Certainly Celery and Real Red is really set off by the Kraft and Whisper White.

My next card is a female card....all pink and pretty.

This has been made using the little flower posy.  Coloured with Pretty in Pink, Rose Red and Certainly Celery. I made the card base by using four 2" x 2" squares of Tea & Crumpets Designer paper and faux stitched them onto a 4 3/8th" square of Chocolate Chip card.

I do hope you enjoyed your vist and my projects. It would be lovely if you could find time to leave me a comment before travelling on to Maggie all the way up in Scotland to see her beautiful creations.

Please Note: The Sale-A-Bration stamp sets are only available until 28th February 2010 and can be earned Free by placing an order for £45 (before P&P).  More info can be found here.  If you would like more information, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Fabulous his and hers cards. Love the clean lines of the male card, nothing fussy here. Love how you've tilted the flowers and ribbon on the ladies card. I must remember that instead of always fixing everything on straight.

These cards are lovely. I especially like the male card you made. Your colour combination is great and even though these could be Christmasy colours it doesn't look a bit Christmasy.
