Happy New Year

Well it has been a long time since I last posted on my blog. I am not sure if there are people out there who still stop by. A big Hello if you do and a Happy New Year.

 I am sad to advise that I am no longer a Stampin' Up demonstrator and will be changing my blog header once I get my head around how to edit it all. LOL. Now I am no longer tied onto the rules of Stampin' Up! I will be posting projects made with products from various companies as well as stanpin' up! of course :-)

 I have decided that 2014 is the year to do more memory keeping. As my blog title suggests, I don't have as much time as I would like to dedicate to crafting and scrap booking has taken a back seat recently. I have decided that this year I am going to attempt Project Life, The idea is simple: Photos + memorabilia + journaling together in an album - everything slips into pockets.

I don't think I will be able to do a weekly 2 page spread, not sure our life is as varied to do that, but I intend to record our life month by month.  I guess some months there will be more going on than others so some months will have more than a 2 page spread.  We will see.  If you are also participating in Project Life in 2014 than please leave a comment and a link to your blog, I can then come over to you and see how you are getting along with PL too. x

Tea Shoppe

Today I want to share with you one of the lovely new stamp sets to be found in the New Summer Mini Catalogue. As soon as I saw this set, I know I just had to have it....

I also used some new dies, which create lovely edges, I used the scallop one on this card and the embossing folder that created the scallop edge plus the beautiful little hearts embossed at the bottom of the card both available in the new Summer Mini Catalogue.
I also used our dazzling diamond glitter to give a little sparkle to the stamped flowers on the background, hopefully it shows up in this close up photo.

I am so pleased to be able share the new Summer Mini Catalogue with you all. There are so many wonderful new things, I don't know what to tell you about first!  One I am excited about is the Simply Scored.

Scoring has never been easier or fun. Score cards, make scoring designs or 3-D projects fast and easy!
The main bord holds 12 x 12 card and features score tracks every 1/8" with easy to read imperial measurements.  For those who prefer metric measurements there is a metric plate that sits right on top.  I have other makes of score board, but this one is fantastic. I Love it.

Happy Valentine

I am posting this a little late in the day as the card is for my wonderful hubs, who works very hard to provide for us. He leaves the house at 6.30 am each morning and it is a little early for me to give him his card! so he received it along with a large box of chocolates this evening when he arrived home. He has surprised me with a lovely meal out at our favourite restaurant.
